ARRT Structured Education and CQR
ARRT has introduced Structured Education and Continuing Qualification Requirements (CQR).
Continuing Qualification Requirements:
CQR assess and improve technologist skill and knowledge. CQR has three parts: Professional Profile, Structured Self-Assessment (SSA) and Continuing Education (CE). CQR applies to any credentials earned after January 1, 2011, or if you are an R.R.A. Technologist completes CQR every ten years for each eligible discipline, and will have three years to complete the process. The Structured Self-Assessment (SSA) is not a test. CQR CE can be used to satisfy license renewal CE requirement.
Structured education is a part of post primary certification process. ARRT currently requires 16 hours of structured education as part of the post-primary certification process. Structured education must reflect content specifications for the post primary discipline you are pursuing. It must include at least one credit in each category of the content specifications for the post-primary you are pursuing. Structured education courses may also be used towards biennial CE requirements.
